To meet the needs of all faculty and staff, Northeastern provides generous paid time off options, including vacation, sick time, personal days, holidays, bereavement, jury duty, and voting.
Vacation and sick days are accrued monthly and determined by position and employment length.
Depending on your position and length of service, you may accrue from 15 to 24 vacation days per year.
Depending on your position and length of service, you will either receive an allotment of 22 days or accrue one day per month up to a maximum of 150 days.
In addition, you may use up to 3 sick days for personal days.
Depending on your campus location, Northeastern University observes 12 paid holidays, one of which is a floating holiday.
